I think more people should know about this man. He set up and spends his life working for the Edhi Foundation, the largest welfare system in Pakistan which provides an ambulance service, shelters, safehouses for abused women and children, food services, medical care, rehab, burial for unclaimed bodies, schools, animal shelters, services for the handicapped, family planning and nation and international relief effort – all for free in one of the most deprived cities in the world.
